I started going to a small corner Chinese coffee shop at the junction of Lorong Mydin and Changi Road. This area is very near to Kembangan MRT station and the area are primarily the old Malay Kampongs in the old days so the road names are in Malay and the roadsides are flanked with Malay eateries and shops. The kopi uncle told me there are many Malaysians frequenting the shop for their familiar local dishes like Malaysian style char Kway Teow, fried mee, laksa, kopi and toasts. There are even tables and chairs at the back alley and there is a car park and many roadside parking lots for their vehicles mainly vans, lorries and small cars providing a very kampong feel to this tiny corner.
