Early Birthday Lunch at Meet for Meat

My youngest son's birthday is on 12 March but we will be in Bali with my elder son and his family.

He always wanted to try this 'Meet 4 Meat' outlet for their Wellington beef so we had it at their food stall at a local coffee shop along East Coast Road. It happended to be their last few weeks of operation and they would move out at the end of the month. They will still be operating at the other stall at Ubi.

I am so blessed! On my birthday, I suddenly had this urge to do something different, so I took a walk within the campus after a meeting. Here's my new hair-do and a new pair of glasses combing my old and new offices - School of Design and Glocal Connect Village, both in Temasek Poly. Met familiar faces along the way when I visited a few corners familiar to me - the new design block, the mural wall, western food stall, print shop, lift lobby, sculpture and the colourful GCV in that order in this visual.

For the record, I used iPhone camera and PowerPoint on my office PC to recreate the visual in 30 mins. I am quite pleased with the final result. Happy Birthday to me!

my youngest son is 18

My son's 18th birthday, the family went to Les Bouchons for his favourite steak. It is located at Tyler Print Institute at Robertson Quay. It is a very cozy steak house with very good collection of wine. This was drawn on the table paper and I just torn the paper and brought home for a scan after the meal.
