We wanted to have a new experience so having lunch at Hide Yamamot was not a bad idea. The Japanese restaurant was named after its celebrity chef and owner who is Japanese born but Italian and French trained. The restaurant at Marina Bay Sands is his fifth restaurant to date but the first and only one in Singapore. We sat at the room with this beautiful Japanese lady chef working on the state of the art 'smokeless' charcoal grills. It was a visual feast to watch her handling the chicken, fish and lamb while having our meal prepared by her too.
