I am one of the active members of Thow Kwang Clay Artists Studio and we carry out wood firing sessions at the Dragon Kiln from time to time at the Pottery Jungle. Recently the jungle area had been cleared and made way for a big Clean Tech Park and we need to put up new banners to direct the public on the location of Pottery Jungle. We were quite upset about the lack of clear communication at the ground level on the future of the dragon kiln. We will support the owner, the Tan family in whichever way that we can to preserve the dragon kiln.

SINGAPORE'S first green business park at Jalan Bahar will begin infrastructure works in July, said industrial landlord JTC Corporation and the Economic Development Board on Thursday.

The first phase will consist of 17 ha of land and the entire park, when fully completed in 2030, will house a population of 20,000 on 50 ha of land next to the Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

The infrastructure works for the park will cost the Government $52 million, and the park will feature developments from both public and private sector, said JTC chief executive Monahar Khiatani.
